Grenade Pin Badge
Portable explosives like this grenade stretch back centuries, even predating gunpowder thanks to the ‘Greek fire’ used by Roman soldiers. The grenade on this pin badge resembles the Mills Bomb, which was the first modern fragmentation grenade. It was widely used by the British Army throughout the First and Second World Wars.
This pin badge is made from lead-free pewter and is supplied on a pin with a separate clasp. The backing card features Royal Armouries branding, so you’ll know you got it from the home of the national collection of arms and armour.
