Henry VIII Pin Badge
Show off your love of the Tudor period with this detailed pin badge featuring perhaps the most famous king in English history.
Henry VIII ruled as England’s monarch for just shy of four decades, and is famous for his six marriages and the initiation of the English Reformation. The design on this pin badge is taken from a famous portrait of him painted in the 1530s. The pin itself has a 3D effect and two pin backs to keep it safe and secure.
Despite becoming obese later in life, in his early years Henry was an athlete and competed in jousting tournaments. The Royal Armouries collection includes some of his armour, including his Foot Combat Armour and Tonlet Armour from 1520, both on display at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, and his Field and Tournament Armour from 1540, which can be seen at the Tower of London.
