Postcard; Empire style cased pair of flintlock pistols
These rifled pistols were made in Bern, by the renowned Swiss gunmaker Franz Ulrich. They are cased in a box, sumptuously lined in green velvet embossed in gold.
Designed and decorated in the fashionable Empire style of the early 19th century, the pistols sit in a birds-eye walnut veneered case. Inside are all the accessories you would need to shoot them: a powder flask, moulds, screwdrivers, hammers and rods.
